Excellent Rocker/Glider!

My husband and I purchased this rocker/glider back in October-we are expecting our first baby in December--and we love this chair! We have it in our living room right now for watching TV because it's so comfortable--no need to put it in the nursery yet! :) It was very easy to assemble--my husband put it together in about 15 minutes. I really wanted a rocker that reclined and this was the ONLY one I could find under $500 that had gotten good reviews. It does not come with an ottoman, we have a stool that we use, but you may not want an ottoman so it might not be an issue. We didn't have room in our nursery for one, so we weren't as concerned about trying to find a rocker/glider that came with one. The padding is thick and comfortable and the high back gives you good head support. It is fairly wide, but not too wide. I am 8 months pregnant and 170lbs and it has plenty of room! My husband fits in it very comfortably as well (he's about 195lbs and 6'). I did want to find a darker fabric color, but rockers/gliders in this price range just don't come in that many color options, unfortunately. This will definitely work for our nursery even though it is not the 'perfect' color. I would HIGHLY recommend this product! Enjoy!

Great chair, if not for the faulty locking mechanism

I've had this chair for nearly two years. The locking mechanism went out a few months ago and my husband and I have tried unsuccessfully to fix it. This isn't a huge problem for our toddler - we mainly read stories with him - but will be a problem when the newborn arrives (it is quite a jolt to have the chair lock when you don't expect it). The reclining feature is great, especially for late night feedings. Would I recommend this chair? I'm not sure. It seemed like a good choice for the price but has not lasted.

very good for the price you pay

I've been searching for a reclining glider for very long time. The only one that was in affordable price range was the one in Baby R Us, but even that whole set would cost me around 550 with tax. It's just way too much for just a glider that you might not even use anymore after your baby grow up. I saw this glider on amazon, but was not sure that the size will be good enough for me, as I am 5'9 and my husband is 6. By the description this model is definitely much smaller than the one in BRU. But I was very pleasantly surprised that it actually is very spacious. For those who are interested the seat from inside is 20*19, and the back rest height is 30. the color is just like on the picture, maybe slightly bit darker... The material is a little rough in compare to the material on other models, but it's not bothering me at all. So far can not say anything about durability, as just set it up 10 minutes ago. But it's definitely very easy to assemble, I just did it myself, without waiting for my husband to come back from work, as I was way to curious to see the product, and I am 9 month pregnant)Overall, definitely suggest it for those who do not want to pay too much for a good glider with reclining feature. And believe me, i have looked for such a long time, it barely exist on the market.
