Good Play Yard

I have used this as a full time crib for five months. It sets up relatively easy and quick. Also, breaking it down is no chore either. The changing table is sturdy. My babe is now 14lbs and haven't seen it bend or lean. The playbar is practically wasted material since my children never notice them. The storage pockets are useful enough. The middle will hold something like a half bag of diapers or a pack of wipes. There are two side pockets that I only use to hold little things like socks, thermometer, comb, nail clippers, etc. Also, the entire unit gets through my bedroom door with only a smidge of maneuvering and I measured the inner door frame at 31.5 inches.My only complaint, which may be typical of most play yards, is the mattress. It's thin and ever since I took it down for a trip, the mattress now has unsightly air bubbles. Can't think of a better description, but it's as though the mattress was shifted out of place. Yet, when I place my hand on it everything feels fine and the bubbles flatten out. I've tried adjusting the fabric but nothing has worked thus far.Other than that minor flaw, this play yard suites all of our needs.

Pretty but quality is questionable

Our problem with this playard is that we could not get a model that actually worked. Received the first one as a gift and it had a defective part. After returning that one, purchased a second one from seller VMInnovations off of Amazon and it did not stand up / sides didn't snap together properly. Additionally it looked like we had been shipped a previously returned product as the box it arrived in looked like it had been re-taped several times and the packing slip was missing.I really wanted this pattern because it was so pretty without being over-the-top girly but this does not appear to be a quality product. After returning 2 of these and with my due date quickly approaching, we drove to the local Babies R Us and purchased a Graco model for half the price. The Graco snapped together in minutes and while the pattern does excite me, both the functionality and quality of the Graco are great. I would not recommend this product.

This item is easy to set up, easy to take apart and over all fair priced. I bought this for my daughter prior to her birth for multiple reasons.1. I wanted a "bed" type item for her to sleep in the first few months of life2. I liked the "bassinet" idea3. It had a changing tableIt has worked out great for 2 out of the 3 reasons. She was able to sleep in this for the first 3 months in the top "bassinet" style part. No complaints there, once I moved her into her crib, in her room, I moved the Play Yard into our living room area so she could nap/play in it whenever she wanted. I actually had to fold it up some to get it into a different room being that our door frames seem fairly small.I only have 2 complaints regarding this product.1. The changing table doesn't sit flat.2. The side pockets don't stay put.The changing table is at an odd angle. It might be just ours but I can't seem to get it to stay down flat, so every time I attempt to change my daughter in it she ends up tilting to her side which makes the task of diaper changing a little more difficult.Safety 1st Travel Ease Elite Play Yard, Eiffel RoseThe side pockets are also a bit of an annoyance. They are set up so that you have to pop the frame in at opposite ends to hold it in place and ours keeps popping itself out. I fixed this by putting a plastic tie around it and no longer have issues but just a heads up.Over all I have to say I do like this product. My daughter spends quite a bit of down time in it and seems to enjoy herself. Now at almost 5 months and about 16 lbs, she enjoys the bottom portion a lot more. =)
